How to Master the Vault
Writing adaptable prompts and organizing them securely is key to scaling your AI usage:
- Injection Syntax: Type
Write a {{tone}} email about {{topic}}. When you click copy, fill in the blanks in the live-preview overlay. - Category Sorting: Switch to Category View to build your prompt library like an eBook. You can use the up/down arrows to shift entire chapters or specific prompts to reorder them globally.
- Collaborative Cloning: Use the Share icon to generate a Clone Link. When others open this link, they can instantly save a copy of your prompt to their own vault, preserving your structure and variables.
- Rapid Editing: Re-label the vault or subcategories directly. Click on any section header (like "Chapter 1") to inline-edit it and hit Enter to rapidly update the entire group.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where are my prompts saved?
Strictly on your device's local browser storage. Not a single byte of your prompt data is ever transmitted to a backend API, making this 100% private and compliant with corporate NDA workflows.
How does Category View (eBook) sort items?
It leverages a robust metadata engine. You can effortlessly shift items to cross boundaries (e.g. from Chapter 1 to Chapter 2), and rename sections inline to instantly remap hundreds of child elements safely without a backend.
Do CSV exports save everything?
Yes. Our custom exporter injects metadata so that even your custom Vault Name is perfectly rehydrated into the system when importing a CSV backup onto a different laptop.
How do I share prompts with others?
Click the Share icon to generate a unique link. You can send a "Direct Use" link which opens the fill-in overlay for the recipient, or a "Clone" link which lets them edit and save a copy of your prompt directly into their private vault.
Can I use the app offline?
Absolutely. Once the site is cached, the entire Vault hierarchy system remains fully functional without any internet connection. You can keep writing and organizing prompts on an airplane.
